New member and my Chicken House

Hello everyone,

Despite reading this forum for a couple of years, I've just joined (and I've just joined the more local to me Australian Backyard Chicken Forum). As a relatively new backyard chicken keeper, I have benefited a great deal from your collective knowledge.

That is a beautiful coop and run! Looks like you put a lot of time and effort into it's design!

thank you AutumnWinds, I just wanted to make my chickens' lives a bit more comfortable, and I will say that I got quite a bit of opposition from some family and friends about starting my little build project (why spend the money etc). Some ppl don't get chickens I guess. I don't get ppl who don't appreciate them.

Great coop. Happy to see someone else putting a coop near a pool. Our chickens will be near the pool area as well.
