New member and new chicken mama

Hiya, and welcome to BYC! :frow

It shouldn't be long before Momo will want to be out with his flockmates. Has he seen them lately? You could put him in a cage or pen out by them so they can all reacclimate to each other.

Then if he's about their size, I'd just put him in the coop at night and be around in the morning to make sure he's okay and able to get to food/water.

We're glad you're here!
We are currently reintroducing him to the flock. We do have a penned area outside where he’s been going, and recently size he doubled his size we have been letting him wander (with our supervision as he doesn’t know the entire area yet) and he has gone toe to toe with a couple roosters, and they have gone well. The alpha rooster has put Momo in his place, and Momo will start to fight back but then runs. The alpha is now keeping other roosters away from momo if they come near him.
But momo follows me everywhere and if he gets nervous about a rooster, he will go behind me.
All I have to do is call his name and he follows me so we walk the yard when we go out.
We would love for him to rejoin the flock! That is our ultimate goal! He’s happier outside and with the others!
Any more advice is greatly appreciated!

Welcome to BYC!
Happy to have you here. 😊
What are your plans for him?
Hello! Our plans are to hopefully reintegrate him into the flock. We have been introducing him, first in a penned area and now that he’s almost the same size just wandering around. He has had a couple scuffles with other roosters, and the alpha rooster has begun keeping other roosters away from Momo. It’s a process for sure!

For all those that have asked here are a few pics of Momo from when we adopted him to now! (He loves our bathroom scale!)
