Hello all!!
I'm Heidi and I'm from Massachusetts. Got my first ever batch of chicks Saturday, so far so good. I have 6 chicks (3 different breeds, 2 of each.) Rhode Island Reds, Plymouth Rocks and Gold laced Wyandotte's.

Any advise or tips would be much appreciated!!

xo Heidi.

My advice is to enjoy them while they're little. They grow SOOOOOOO fast.

My wife Sue and I are new chicken owners as well, and we have been enjoying the experience tremendously! I agree with @critta , there are tons of friendly and helpful people here at BYC, so be sure to ask any questions - you'll find everyone very helpful!

Enjoy the ride!

Welcome to BYC, Heidi! Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

Sounds like you have a lovely flock of great breeds! Do they have names? I have a flock of five named Gracie, Daisy, Sunny, Quanie and Rosie.

Good luck with your flock and welcome to our flock
