New Member and very new to the start of raising chickens in my backyard

Hello everyone, my name is Steve Jones and I am from Troy Missouri, I have been interested in wanting to raise chickens for about 2 years but the wife was not sure about this. So this week my wife agreed that I could have my chickens. I have ordered my coop today and I am talking to a breeder soon about getting 6 Pullets. I am very excited and I hope that I can learn from all of you.
