I have 6 .We know ones a cockeral his crowing is getting better. My son loves them. He picked them out.

Welcome to Backyard chickens. Silkies are very popular and rightly so, also great favorites among children. There are other silkie threads as well "Nothing but Patridge silkies,", "Buff Silkies," "Paint Silkies," etc divided by color but, silkies are silkies no matter what color feathers they wear.
