Hi, my "name" is Barred Glock. I am new to BYC.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
No, I am not new to poultry raising. I have been raising poultry since I was a kid.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have a lot, haven't taken the time to count them yet.
(3) What breeds do you have?
RIRs, Red sex links, Wyandottes and Delawares, Welsummers, Leghorns, Barred Rocks and Cornish Rocks.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
Their meat and eggs.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I lead a 4H Poultry project.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I was in 4H when I was younger. I raised Poultry and guide dogs. I also work as a wastewater treatment operator.
(7) How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I learned of BYC from my daughter, who is a leader in her local 4H club.
