Hi everyone, so glad to finally join BYC! I've used the resources here for the past several months planning my perfect place for my future chicks. We finally had everything in place and brought home our first set of four Black Copper Maran chicks. They are just a bit over 5 weeks now (we think). The biggest question that we forgot to ask when we bought them was how old they were! Anyone care to take a guess?
Anyway, We're pretty sure that we've got one rooster and three hens. They're still inside most of the day, but we put them out when it's 70+ outside so they can enjoy their coop. We just purchased an Acre in the country and have the opportunity to pick up an additional 4-5 more. We're super excited about growing veggies and herbs and fruits. We anticipate goats in our future and possibly some pigs. I look forward to guessing and chatting with ya'll in the future! God Bless!
