Hi All,
I'm British but living in Kenya for the last 5 years. I live on one acre and have a variety of birds and 5 dogs. I do also raise meat chickens and plan to raise Guinea fowl for meat.
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have been keeping Chickens / Geese / Turkeys / Ducks / Guinea Fowl for a couple of years.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
About 30 Chickens, 3 Geese, 15 Guinea Fowl, 10 Ducks
(3) What breeds do you have?
Brahma Chickens, normal Geese, White & Lavender Guinea, 1 Muscovy Duck, 2 Large Pekins, some other fancy ducks.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
All the birds have different characters.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I enjoy dog walking, running, going to the Gym.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 5 dogs
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I've always checked out BYC via Google to answer questions I might have.
