New member, but I need advice about hen setting on non-hatching eggs.

Most hens leave the nest site 24 to 36 hours after the first chick hatches. Do you have an incubator? Staggered hatches usually result in problems.

Have patience. Mine always leave the nest after the 3rd day, of the 1st chick hatching.

Welcome to the Best Chicken forum on the globe. You have received some really good advice already about what to expect from your Broody Hen. Good luck with your eggs but, it sound like she'll be leaving the nest to take her first born out on adventures and the rest will either parrish or you can try hatching them yourself.
