Hi all,

I am new to online forums. I have read many but never joined and participated. Feeling a little overwhelmed but I think I will get the hang of it. lol. I really enjoy this sight and have gotten SO much useful information here.

My family and I are new to backyard chickens. We have 7 chickens that are about 10 weeks old now. We are learning every day and thankfully did a ton of research before we started. I have questions as to gender for my chicks so I will head over to that forum later today and post some pictures.

Thanks for being here!

Please make yourself at home and we are here to help.

Glad you finally joined us! I would recommend you visit the learning center but you probably already know where it is!

We will be happy to help with any questions about your chicks' gender and any other questions you may have.

Enjoy this new adventure you are on and welcome to our flock!

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. A lot of us were lurkers before joining. I'm sorry you ended up with three roosters. You can advertise on Craigslist, or check with the local feed stores and see if they know of anyone who would like a rooster. Sometimes they have bulletin boards that you can advertise on. Also you might check with the local 4h club. Some of the students might be willing to take them. When you reach 20 post (you can get there fast by greeting new members ), you can advertise on our Buy, Sell, and Trade section at https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/67/buy-sell-trade. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. We are here to help in any way we can. Good luck in re-homing your roosters.
