Hi all. I have been following and doing most of my poultry research on BYC for at least 2 years. Last year I took the plunge and built a coop, then purchased some Ameraucanas and 2 Khaki Campbell ducks. This year I started selling eggs, began incubating eggs and selling the chicks. I also purchased some Rouen ducks this year in February who are already bigger than the Khaki Campbells.
When I purchased my first Ameraucanas, I got them from a breeder from the Ameraucana breeders club. Before I was able to purchase them I put in an order at the local agri store for some Ameraucanas, which as I know now are Easter Eggers. I love all my chickens and ducks and am looking to add to my Ameraucanas.
I would like to say that this site has been extremely helpful to me in the fact that I have never had to ask a question because I have always been able to find the answer here somewhere. Thank you to everyone who has contributed over the years and for those who continue to do so.
