Hi!

I'm Sharon, and I live in rural Ohio with my husband and two children, ages 11 and almost 14. I grew up always having chickens, and I just love them. When I was a kid, I had a tiny white EE bantam hen named Special. She frequently rode around in the basket of my bike with me. :)

Our daughter has inherited my "chicken addiction gene", and we currently have a gorgeous flock of many different breeds. We have assorted bantams (my favorites are the cochins), sapphire olive eggers (who lay brown eggs! :)), Easter eggers, a light Brahma, a barred rock, white rock, turken, Polish, gold and silver laced Wyandottes, and an Isa Brown.

We just bought some new EE pullets, and I'm interested in seeing how they turn out. Our hens from the previous batch are all different, and just gorgeous. :)

Thank you! The hen is my daughter's pet cochin, Jet. She got broody this year and hatched out these two. Their names are Pip and Puff. :) We think the black one, Puff, is a little roo, and Pip is a hen. At least that's what we're hoping! :)
