Hi all!
(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? I am new to chickens and plan on getting around 5 silver lace Wyandotte chicks this spring. I have 3 Welsh harlequin hens currently
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 0! But 3 ducks
(3) What breeds do you have? Welsh harlequin
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? So far I love my ducks quirky personalities and watching them, they are so beautiful
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
Reading, writing, I am planting a garden this year, video games, and generally trying to keep up with 3 children
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We have 2 dogs and just moved a family of 5 back to the family farm to help out the grandparents
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I've been lurking for a while before I got the ducklings, but want to be a more active member now
