Hiya, I'm a new member :) I'm looking after a couple of chicks from the nursery I work at with the potential of keeping them. We're hoping they're female but they're only 2-3 weeks old so I know it's hard to tell. I've been trying to google the breed but can't find anything that looks similar to them. Please help!?

Brilliant, thank you! Are they quite a common breed? And does anyone know much about their temperament? We've never had chickens before and have just bought a coop but haven't started with building the little area yet. Are they a nice breed to have?

I've just been looking at the Wikipedia page but it doesn't seem to be matching the description. The egg that they were hatched from were white, not brown. I'm in the UK and the picture of a chick looks nothing like mine

are yours a bantam breed (small size), I think they look like gold laced Sebrights. You can also post at "what breed or gender is this." where many very experiences chickeners give their opinion.

IF they are Sebrights the males are "henny feathered," like the girls, so you can't tell gender by that. I believe only the combs tell them apart. You have beautiful, little birds
