I've had a nice selection of hardy backyard chickens for 4 years now. I finally have a workable, escape-free coop and run setup. I love differing colors of eggs and when I sell extras, people really like the assortment. I'm still in search of a few rare breeds and pink egg layers, but can only have 9 chickens in my yard. Its hard to make choices at times!
