(1) Are you new to chickens YES
when did you first get chickens? 2 Days ago
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 3 Hannah, Stella & Barbara
(3) What breeds do you have? Isa Brown (??)
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Just having them to watch, cuddle and Eggs!!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Crochet and Diamond painting
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We just purchases a Cavoodle (Cole) because he is black as charcoal. He has turned our lives upside down and we adore him. The chickens are his new friends and he no longer wants to stay inside opting for going outside to play with (annoy the crap out of), the girls. We are me and my two teenagers. We have been through a lot and for the first time we have a home with a big back garden so we got a dog and some chickens - animals are so theraputic.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
Well, actually, I didn't know this forum existed. I typed into Google "Can you leave chicken feed and water inside the coop at night-time", and the first cab off the rank was this page with some responses - which were good by the way! LOL. Then I thought, well, I might just as well signup as I have absolutely no idea what I am doing and am terrified they will die on me because I know so little.
