They look like female mallards to me, very beautiful ducks you have!

The males have a green head and the females are brown with purple on their wings. I don’t know why one is growing faster, maybe one is just older than the other?

Drakes will develop a drake curl, raspy voice, and their color will change when they go through the nuptial molt. Many mallard derived breeds have mallard coloring. It is very likely that they are different breeds.
