New member, Fledgling Urban Homesteader

Hi everyone, obviously I'm new here! My family upgraded our standard backyard garden to an urban homestead last summer when we added a chicken coop and 4 beautiful ladies to our backyard. I've been a bit of a lurker, coming to the BYC forum and scanning old posts for answers to my many questions, but since making what I think may be a mistake with chicken waste in my garden soil, I decided to finally join and ask my very first question! Hopefully, I find the answers I need like so many newbies have before me. Looking forward to tapping into this endless fount of BYC knowledge!
