Hiya, and welcome to BYC!

They'll be fine I'm sure of it! I hatch gobs and sometimes I'm late too and they only get a day or two of the high humidity. They hatch just fine.

I do five-day lockdowns usually though so if I forget a couple of days of high humidity it's not as crucial.

A pip is where an chick makes a little hole in the egg to breath through then absorbs the yolk and veins. It can take up to 34 hours after the pip for the egg to hatch!
Go on YouTube and look up how to hatch chick that can explain better than me!
