Hello all, I have just joined this site in the hope of getting advice and useful info on keeping my little flock of backyard chickens. I live in rural Victoria and with the gelp of my 7 year old grandson we have just gotten our first birds, 1 rooster and four hens. Looking forward to all this brings. Regards Pauline

My children and my 7 year old granddaughter (pictured in my avatar) loved our chooks and made lap pets of the calmer and more gentle breeds.
