(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Brand new - want to learn everything I can before buying.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 0
(3) What are some of your other hobbies? Animal care, cooking, exploring the outdoors, sustainability
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have 4 wonderful dogs - Gogo, Fizzy, George and Parsnip
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? The goog
I am brand new to Ben Lomond! This is our first home and I have always wanted chickens. But if anyone in the area has any information on the local chicken laws, I'd appreciate it. All I know is that for my property size we are allowed 10 chickens that we would keep as egg-laying pets.
I am a quirky person. And I must admit I am more interested in unusual birds that lay odd colors versus frequent egg layers. But friendliness is important too!
