I would start building the coop now. I would avoid buying any prefab coop that comes from a farm store or online as they will be horrible quality, grossly undersized for the number of birds they state they can house and are very poorly ventilated and designed.

Here they were worried about noise and vermin, after some time and great effort we are at least allowed to keep a few here. I think it's similar elsewhere. Also chickens had to be removed from the status of "barnyard animal" before any progress was made. My beat guess has to do with the "smell and noise" associated with animals, though we have no ordinance stating dog/cat limit, and I had 14 small dogs of various breeds with no smell or noise, as a matter of fact my 14 were quieter than my neighbor's 1 dog, so it is just unfounded prejudice, likely based off of one or two people who don't mind their critters. For the record, I only have 5 small dogs right now, 3 frenchies I intend to breed, and 2 chihuahuas I'm looking to rehome. Also may have something to do with space requirements for the animal, for their health, safety, and comfort.

I intend to get my coop next month. I have one I'm getting from a pet chicken site, however, I have good reason to do it this way. I need something light enough to move around, since I intend to move the birds daily around my yard, so they can get all the tastys everyday. I do feel the run is a bit small, but the house itself is perfect for the amount I will have. I intend to repurpose two xxl dog crates from my dobie breeding days I'm not using anymore to make the run bigger. The fact that it has a top is a plus since there's tons of hawks here(have to watch my puppies too). I wouldn't consider it if I planned to keep a lot of birds, or if it was the only outdoor space they had, they would be miserable. When I finally move out of state I will have to check the zoning for my town, but if I can keep the birds there I will be building a permanent coop, though I probably won't keep more than a few birds, because this is just a personal hobby I wanted to have, but I would have access to a commercial property right next to my residential property there, since I own both, and to get the zoning for more than 3 dogs I had to rezone. That's in north Dakota, of course, not Florida where I currently live. I know I'll need a completely different set up for them up there due to the weather difference.

I have bred other breeds in the past, and have also owned birds before, but not chickens. We finally decided to get some hens for eggs, and our golden sexlinks will be arriving in July. Welcome to BYC. I'd love to see pictures of your franchise!
If I were you, I'd forget about moving the coop and build, or have built, a walk in coop. It will be much easier to keep it clean, and to access your flock, when needed.
Most prefab are not suitable for standard hens and never hold the amount advertised. They also don't have appropriate ventilation.
