Hello all,
We recently (well 3 years ago ) moved to a new home with about an acre. We have a nice garden and I have always thought it would be nice to have chickens. Our main motivation is to ensure we were not supporting the inhumane treatment of animals. Secondarily, knowing what was fed to the chickens was important to us.

I am now trying to decide if it is feasible or not.

I will read through the suggested reading but I am sure that I will have some pointed questions.
