Hi,
I just found this great site, and I love it!! I've had chickens for about 16 years on my own, but was taught to love them by my dear grandmother. Before forums, I would call her up as a newbie with all of my questions
I live in CA.
I currently have 13 sex link and 2 easter egger pullets. My old hens are a mix, with the eldest being about 8 years old. She's an old Maran hen. Would like more Marans ( any variety) as with her I only got 2 pullets and the rest roos with that hatch.
Still have my old hova bator, but not even sure it works anymore. Now I cast my luck with buying chicks.
