Hello everyone! I'm obviously new here and wanted to share a bit about my flock.
I have 5 laying hens who are now 3 years old. I don't know what breed they are, but I want to find out. They live along side my two Nigerian Dwarf wethers and they are so far getting along. Because we live in Canada, we deal with threats of frostbite, changing laying patterns, and much more. I thought that becoming a member would help me through the craziness of raising chickens in Canada, and I also wanted to see what other countries deal with when raising chickens.
I'm excited to learn more about chickens!

Welcome to Backyard Chickens I am in Washington state with a micro climate that we rarely freeze that and ventilation in your coop that cause frostbite
