I have 2 coops and 2 separate runs for my 17 chickens. Bought them at tractor supply for a buck each 3 months ago. 4 Rock Cornish hens, ( really grew the fastest), 7 Brahmas, 5 Rhode Island Reds, And one black one. (forgot the name.) Built my own coop. It actually has 9 hinged doors on it to expose the nesting boxes, main area, storage for non food supplies, and storage for hay, wood shavings, and feed. And I'm actually planning a third coop for the 15 quail eggs that I am now incubating. They should hatch out in about 13 more days. Then I'll get the brooder ready for them ant take it from there.

Welcome! The black one might be called an Australorp.

The white ones that grew really fast... Are probably Cornish crosses which are meat birds that don't live long.

What type of quail?
northern quail was in the description on ebay. so I'm assuming they are northern bobwhites. However, the eggs I got were different sizes and colors.
