New Member from Chicago

So I'm researching having chickens here in Chicago. I know we can have them -- but I don't have them yet. I'll be pretty quiet on the boards, but I'll be reading a lot.

I'm pretty sure there is a Chicagoland Chicken Fanciers club or something like that. You could try various forms of that on Google and see what comes up. I read about that - maybe 2-3 years ago when someone in the suburbs wanted to get more info. They had coop tours and I believe some kind of classes for newbies.
