Hello
I am new here to Back Yard Chickens and would like to introduce myself and the breeds I have. I live in GA and attended UGA and have always been around chickens and other poultry since i can remember. I am not a professional breeder . . I simply enjoy raising chickens. I keep a small flock of several different Asian Game Fowl that include the KO Shamo, O Shamo, Thai, Malay, Brazilian and Pama.
For the past 10 years I have been raising and learning more and more about these breeds and have my favorites . . but really enjoy them all. They are tough immunologically and gentle to handle for the most part. The KO Shamo have really caught my eye as of recent. The personality is cool and they are just plain neat little birds. The care and husbandry may be a little more time consuming than most birds . . but I think well rewarded by the awesome little guys!
