Hi I'm Paula from Southeast Georgia. I have 28 two month old chickens that I've raised from day old chicks. I've had chickens before, but it's been about 15 years so it's like everything's new again. I'm still trying to identify some of the breeds, so I'll post some pics soon. I'm excited to see everyone's chicks and chickens and learn more about them. :)

Hi Paula and welcome to BYC and congrats on the littles.

If you need to refresh your memory, you'll find lots of info in the Learning Centre - https://www.backyardchickens.com/articles/category/learning-center.11/ and if you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.

You may wish to consider joining your state thread as it will put you in touch with other BYC members in your area - http://www.backyardchickens.com/t/270925/find-your-states-thread#post_3239224

Hello from Middle Georgia,

:welcome so glad you have joined us.

Wish I had your past experience, I couldn't handle 28 .
I have 2 (remaining out of 6) hens now 4 years old, and 4 - 3 week old babies in the brooder.

Good luck with your newbies and congrats on getting back into chicken tending.
