Picked up (7) 9 week old chickies last night from a farmer in Rochester NH, needless to say I'm excited and even better news is they all made it thru their first night happily an healthy! Ate up almost 75% of their food and drank plenty of water!

Congrats, it sounds like they're off and running! Are these the Cochins you wanted?

They are not Cochins, the person selling the Cochins was a bazaar off putting character and I didn't feel comfortable making a purchase from such an individual. I found a fantastic farm who raises pullets, baby chicks hens and roosters and I purchased from her! She was wonderful. I now have 4 buff Orpington, two Isa browns and one black australorp. All 9 weeks old and doing great! Pics soon
