Hello everybody I am Luca and I come from Italy. Now I am breeding silver sebright with my father but I registered to this forum because I am going to breed Jersey giant.
By the way, does anybody know where i can find this breed's root?

I'm sorry but I don't anything about them. If you go to the "Breeds,Genetics, & Showing," thread you could post there and ask what the origin of Jersey Giants is.

Luca, I read some information on Jersey Giants. They were created around 1870 & 1890 by the brothers John & Thomas Black (New Jersey,USA) They wanted to create a BIG chicken to compare with turkeys as a meat source. Black Javas, BLack Langshans and Dark Brahma crosses were used to develop the Jersey Giant breed.
