thanks everyone for the great welcome!
I'm enjoying reading through some of the past posts - looking into sprouting and have pulled out my old sprouters and got them going again..the chickee's will be surprised in a couple of days with something different! Even though it's winter here I still have quite a bit of kale growing in the hoop house...the chicken's are crazy about the curly green kale over the redbor kale.
From the 5 hen's i have been getting 3 or 4 eggs a day...i've never seen 5 eggs...i am wondering if one of the hen's just isn't putting out or are they carefully coordinating their days off?
