I last had chickens 30 years ago, but we have 3 little day old chicks in a brooder now. They are 1 Australorp and 2 Gingerhams (like an ISA brown)
I'm worried our 9 year old Golden Retriever won't accept the chooks. He's usually very gentle with animals, but he has taken a keen interest in watching them in the brooder.
