Hello all. I have had a backyard flock of 8 to 12 chickens for the past 5 years. I've been using BackYardChickens.com as a reference from the beginning. It's been very helpful and I've learned a lot. I've also learned a lot from my two chicken veternarians (one retired).
I finally decided to become a member since I think I'm to the point where I can give as well as take advice. I'm still so new to chicken care that I can fully relate to those who are just beginning, but I also have some good experience under my belt. My flock are all egg layers. I look forward to sharing and my continued learning as a full fledged member (pun intended!)
Also looking forward to connecting with other Michiganders! (can't help the poulrty puns)
