Hello! Welcome to BYC! A great place to learn!Hi, I'm new to this forum. I have 4 new chickens got them about 16 weeks ago.
I got the chicks from a breeder. I believe they are all hens which is what I want.
2 chicks are LaFleche
1 black is I think a Australorp
1 is mix of Ancona
I joined to learn more. I worry I'm not feeding them right.
I agree with the post about them digging holes, I have a mine field.

Hi, it's nice to have you here with us! What are you currently feeding your flock?
Thank youHello and welcome to BYC!
Oh you have a very cute flock! Thanks for sharing them! Chick starter until they are ready to lay. Keep the treats down to a dull roar, maybe once a day. Lots of greens like broccoli slaw, cabbage, carrots, chopped veggies. Greens help clean out the liver and help to prevent fatty liver. A big tray of greens once a day is good for them.

Welcome to BYC. I feed this from hatch to old age. I keep oyster shell & grit available at all times. I buy it from chewy.View attachment 4153133
Thank you for the clarification.I'd cut way, way back on snacks (including corn). You want them to fill up on nutritionally sound feed formulated for chickens...corn and snacks are like candy. Snacks are not essential but if you want to treat them, I personally wouldn't give more than a tablespoon tossed out to the 4 of them per day.
