Hello all! We have had our chickens for just over a year now. Sadly, we lost 3 of our 5 to a fox in March. After fortifying the coop we just got 4 Ameraucana chicks. So...I will be checking back in for insight on introducing the the girls.

Fox are persistent and very clever, they can dig, and they can jump

We buried cinder blocks all around the coop, hoping to keep the digging at bay. As for jumping, we have chain link fence all around. Our chow/rottweiler mix used to keep everything away, but she's slowing down.
