New member from northern Nevada

Hi! I am fairly new at chicken keeping. It started with my dog finding an almost dead chicken that had been abandoned in the hills near our home and grew from there. This hen lived for about 2 years. I now have 6 hens - 3 that just turned 2 years old and 3 that just turned 1 year old. I found this group while searching for information online and find it extremely helpful. We have 100+ temperatures right now, so it’s a challenge getting the coop to cool down before they go in! I will be posting some questions soon. Excited to be here!
