Greetings from Texas! We usually sail through the winters here, but summers can be brutal. We get a lot of hot panting chickens when it gets over 100 degrees. We put out pans of water, and some of the girls will stand in them to cool off.
 
Thank you! We get nasty humid summers here and my girls pant too. They just got a roof over their play area and an extension in the woods for more shade...I found they like frozen veggies to help with the extreme heat!
 
Sure! I never thought I'd have to think about so much with raising chickens but I'm learning new tricks every day
