After stumbling across this site a few times in the last week I decided it was time to join. I'm sure glad I did as it seems there are issues with having chickens in my area. I'm planning to get a few birds with my kids this weekend but see conflicting information on what I can do. One page says no chickens, another says up to 5 chickens for non-commercial purposes. Any help on clarifying the Laws and Ordinances in my area is greatly appreciated.

Love the site!

-Nate

Update: I did find a section on "Poultry" under my city ordinances. What I read is that I can have up to 5 birds, but I am not a lawyer. Can anyone clarify?

Thanks
