I rescued one of our hens from a hawk attack. She recovered, but has a large bald spot. The rooster picks at her scar when mounting her. Some of the hens bully her after he finishes. She has gone into self-imposed isolation at night, but in the daytime prefers to be with her flock mates. Has anyone been successful with a hood that would allow her to see and eat, or with other protective measures?
