Hi fellow chicken keepers :)
Just dropping by to show my appreciation that a great site like this exists :) my wife bought me my first coop & 3 hens ( RIR , 2 RR's ) I adore them they are amazing!! Any questions I've had have been answered through this site which is awesome anyway I'm blabbering on a bit now and need to shoot off to work . So a big thanks ppl from joe & Maz and the new family members Betty , Agnes , isa xx

P.S. My granddad's family immigrated to the US from Scotland, they were from Ayrshire. I'm a McDonald on that side. Are you anywhere close to where they came from?

Hi NorthFLChick I'm only up the road from Ayrshire ( about 50 miles ) me and the with drive down there for a day out and fish & chips ( best fish in Scotland in saltcoats )
Anyway all the best for the new year ppl hope 2015 is a good one with plenty of eggs :)
