Hi fellow chicken lovers,
I am back into chickens after taking 23 years off. I'd forgotten how much I had really enjoyed it. I think I had gotten in over my head before. Incubating game birds for other people and for feed stores. We sold eggs and butchered chickens too. At one time we had 1000 birds. Also had turkeys, ducks and geese. But I always come back to chickens.
Just 8 hens and 1 rooster now but hopefully 6 baby chicks will hatch out this week, all Australorps.
I love this site it has been a big help to be able to refer to as I am a bit rusty. I enjoy how other people are as into it as I am!
