New member from So Ca, coop with a view!

Thank you all. I got a lot of information from BYC before I started building, so I had it close to what I wanted, but in the meantime some improvements are already made. Like the watering is now completely outside the coop but in the run, more room for chickens and the sand stays dry if the nipples are drippping. Painting: the roof is still red, but the sides are yellow. I will submit a picture when the painting is completed and than I catch also the 8 x 20 feet run on it.

Chcikenlady, cool looking chicken residence as well. And indeed quite some similarities with our coop. I enjoyed working on it as well, but it wasn't always that easy: its build on a terrace between slopes, but some rock needed to be removed. But that is part of living with a view in SoCal. And all the 1/2" hardware cloth partly dug in to keep predators out.
