Oh my, lmao, I could just imagine that! No, we do not ride them (as my minis are sighing in relief)! I run along beside them as they clear the jumps up to 48" and I run around the side of the jump. The minis make sure I get plenty of exercise. The only thing we do with them where they have to pull us is driving classes, but they hardly know we are on the cart with the way they build them to distribute weight out mostly on the tires..

I was rolling on the floor when I first read your op; I somehow knew that you couldn't be actually riding them as they were jumping. I've seen a few and knew how small they could be.

Wow, up to 48", I never would have guessed. Thanks for educating me and making me laugh. I learn something new here every day.

Yeah, there is only one problem when you teach a horse to jump a 4ft fence, he then tries to jump out of the pasture and go visit the neighbors huge appaloosa broomares, can not get it through my one stallions head that there is no way he is going to reach them unless he persuades them to lay down. Even then I don't think he could reach.

Welcome! I am from Southern Ohio as well, Washington County. I also LOVE my silkies and mini horses. We actually have a bunch of silkie babies right now and one is sitting on my hand as I type! We just brought all the babies in since it will be cold tonight!
