Chirping
Hey everyone! I really enjoy BYC and thought I might as well jump in on the conversation. I have a layer flock of rir, ee and a silver Leghorn rooster. 8 in total. I've raised a couple groups of their mixed offspring for meat (preparing to butcher 22 this weekend) I'm moving the layers out, however. Soon to be replaced by a group of Delawares. I plan on a meat production/growth rate improvement breeding program. Any thoughts?
Welcome!
My best birds for meat, eggs, laying, foraging, friendliness was my New Hampshires. Might have just been the stock/quality. There's a wealth of info, knowledge and experience shared in the multitude of threads. Browse around and see what interesting stuff you can find. By all means post away when the desire strikes you, especially if you have questions (provide as much detail/info as possible and pictures truly help)... With all the great folks here, generally someone will respond in no time at all. Please make yourself at home!
