Hi everyone. I found this site while gathering info about incubating and hatching chicken eggs. This is our first try at hatching eggs. We've had a dozen hens for almost 2 years now and finally decided to hatch out some replacements. We made our incubator out of one of my wife's old ferret cages, and used a lot of ideas from the homemade bator section on BYC. Because of that, I though I'd share here now that we're getting close (we are on day 20 of our hatch). Here is a little pic of our setup:

Finally, here are our hens and rooster. I'm not sure what breed they are (and I think the rooster might actually be a different breed than the hens, so hopefully we don't end up with really weird chicks or something). Maybe I'll post the same pic in the "What Breed is this" forum and see if I get any responses:
