New Member From Texas

My name is Matt, and I live in Nacogdoches, Texas. My wife and I just got 4 little chicks (2 Rhode Island Reds and 2 Ameraucanas) that are only about 2 weeks old now. My wife had the idea of getting chickens last year, so my Christmas present for her this past Christmas was to build her a chicken coop. I based it mostly off of the design of the "Country Acres" plans that someone posted on this site. I changed several things from the original plans. Here is a photo I took of the progress back in February:



It's since been painted red and has all of the wire up and doors on the end of the run. Glad to be here and hope to learn things as we go as this is the first time either of us has owned chickens!
