Hi folks. New here but have been raising laying hens for several years. We currently have 8 which is more than enough to provide us and our family with eggs. We are planning now to start raising laying hens on pasture in a portable house to sell eggs. In addition, we are currently raising 40 broilers on pasture in a Salatin style chicken tractor. These first 40 will be ready for butchering in 2 weeks. We will also be ramping up our production on broilers for a pastured chicken business.
Still have much to learn and looking forward to participating in this online community.
