You'll love having chickens and hanging out here at BYC! I don't know what I'd have done without all the great tips and advice I received here. I will warn you though that these people are a bunch of enablers! You start out just wanting a few hens and then....

I'm in the Pittsburgh area too...though I'm south--Greene County.

I'm new to this chicken thing too. I have 28 three-week olds I hatched in an incubator. Still waiting for hubby to finish the refurbished coop!
