Hello chicken friends~
I am a brand new, today, chicken owner. Today I brought home 3 new ladies. Here they are.
I wanted chickens 1. because i love my next door neighbors and figured I could just as easily spoil my own 2. want to know where my eggs come from because I loath animal cruelty. Fresh eggs and how my chickens are raised seemed like something I could handle.

I look forward to reading your posts and am sure you can all provide excellent advice for this newbie.

Welcome PDXStrong!! I am fairly new on here but, not to raising chickens! This is one of the best places, ever, for getting answers on anything chicken....or any other animal, for that matter!!
